Farm Manager

• Coordination and management of university farm operations.
• Preparation of staff establishment and oversight of personnel within the farm department.
• Advising on staff training and development needs.
• Formulation and implementation of farm policies and strategies.
• Handling budgeting and procurement processes for the farm.
• Ensuring high-quality standards are maintained in all farm outputs and processes.
• Leading staff development and capacity building initiatives.
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• At least nine (9) years’ work experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Membership registration with a relevant professional body.
• Evidence of continuous Management training lasting not less than four (4) weeks.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
