We are seeking a dedicated Plant Manager/Factory Manager to oversee our dairy production facilities and ensure operational excellence across all departments. \n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Ensure overall plant performance including operations, quality, production, and maintenance.\n- Conduct strategic planning, budgeting, reporting, and coordination with senior management on KPIs.\n- Coordinate activities across departments such as quality, production, engineering, procurement, HR, and logistics.\n- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) are followed to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the plant.\n- Manage staff including production managers, supervisors, operators, and maintenance teams to ensure optimum utilization of manpower.\n- Review plant working on a continuous basis and suggest measures for achieving improved productivity.\n- Ensure milk intake, pasteurization, packaging, cold chain, and external stakeholder demands meet appropriate levels of standards.\n- Monitor processing, quality maintenance, and dispatch parameters to ensure quality output at minimum cost while adhering to food safety through SOPs.\n- Maintain strict quality control of milk and milk products to avoid market complaints.\n- Ensure strict adherence to preventive maintenance systems and make efforts towards minimizing plant breakdowns.\n- Work with QC to release product according to specifications and oversee critical plant functions.\n- Manage inventory of all raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods.\n- Facilitate the requirements for ISO audits and ensure they are carried out smoothly.\n- Monitor overall costs against budget on a monthly basis and drive production planning to meet incoming orders.\n- Ensure all statutory requirements of the plant are compliant and up to date.\n- Plan, supervise, and monitor the work of subordinate staff, including performance appraisals.\n- Monitor all civil, mechanical, and electrical project works in coordination with the corporate office.\n- Introduce cost-effective and modern techniques/technology in processing and maintenance.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized institution.\n- Strong knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), Quality systems (ISO), and Food Safety Standards.\n- At least 8 years’ experience in a milk processing factory environment.
