Kivulini Eco Park Karen Hotel, a 2-star establishment located in Nairobi near Karen Fun Park, is seeking a qualified and experienced Executive Chef. The hotel is known for its unique amenities, including an aqua park, water slides, and a specialized American-style restaurant.
Role Overview
The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading the culinary department, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dining experiences that align with the hotel's standards and its American-style culinary theme.
Responsibilities
Direct and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Oversee the preparation and service for the American-style restaurant.
Ensure strict adherence to food health and safety regulations.
Manage kitchen staff, including training and performance supervision.
Control inventory and manage food costs effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND in Culinary Arts or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in reputable hospitality organizations.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a professional kitchen team.
