Enrolled Community Health Nurse III (CPSB 12)

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to patients in health facilities and community settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
• Participate in community health outreach and health education programs.
• Support maternal and child health services, including immunization and prenatal care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient care plans.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• A Certificate in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Enrolled Nurse, Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nurse, Kenya Enrolled Midwife, Kenya Enrolled Psychiatric Nurse, or Enrolled Nurse/Midwife from a recognized training institution.
• An Enrolment Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• A valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
• A Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
