The Engineering Technician III (Roads) is an entry and training grade position within the Machakos County Public Service Board. Working under the guidance of a designated supervisor, the officer will support the county's road infrastructure projects through data collection, inspections, and quality control.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Collecting and collating data relating to roads infrastructure assets and road works.\n- Participating in inspections of road projects.\n- Taking part in conducting site investigations.\n- Identifying and locating suitable materials for roads works.\n- Preparing and maintaining daily inspection reports.\n- Participating in materials testing and quality control.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\n- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.\n- Proficiency in computer applications.\n- Registered by the Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) as a Candidate Engineering Technician.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates are required to apply through the Machakos County Public Service Board job portal at .
