Our client is a company dealing with the growing and selling of African herbs. The Electrician's main role is to plan, organize, and control all electrical services under the guidance of management and within the limits of company policies and procedures to achieve the company's mission and vision.
Responsibilities
Effecting all electrical installations within the farm, staff quarters, and all other enterprises belonging to the company.
Carrying out all necessary routine and emergency breakdown maintenance where necessary within the farm and other enterprises belonging to the company.
Guiding the purchasing department on sourcing and authenticating the genuineness of electrical parts and accessories required by the company.
Assisting management in assessing, costing, and supervising externally contracted electrical works within the company enterprises.
Carrying out periodic electrical risk assessments, implementing corrective measures, and advising management and general workforce on best electrical practices to avoid electrical accidents on the farm.
Taking all due care and procedures while handling electrical works to avoid electrical accidents to self, other workers, machines, and general assets.
Qualifications and Requirements
O' level qualification (KCSE).
Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Must be certified by ERC (Grade B).
Able to generate reports using computers.
Minimum 3 years working experience as an electrician dealing with farm irrigation and water management systems, generators, or other agricultural farm-related equipment.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: KSh 50,000 - 70,000 per month.
