The Electrical Technician is responsible for executing planned and predictive maintenance jobs to ensure optimal equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency within the facility.
Key Performance Areas
Execution of planned maintenance jobs, including both preventive and predictive tasks.
Planned Maintenance:
Workshop Repairs: Carrying out planned workshop repairs as required.
Continuous Improvement: Execution of 6S and other Gemba Kaizen activities within the workshop environment.
Monitoring & Reporting: Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any disorders or malfunctions to the maintenance shift supervisor.
Safety & Material Handling: Ensuring the safe handling of equipment and materials during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
Academic Qualification: Minimum of a Diploma or Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of PLC, Drives, and the interpretation of electrical drawings.
Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills along with creative and innovative thinking capabilities.
