The EHS Officer is responsible for enforcing compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. The role involves ensuring the company complies with its statutory obligations, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and fostering a safe working culture through training and audits. This position is central to maintaining ISO standards and reporting on safety performance within the manufacturing environment.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Enforce compliance with Health, Safety & Environment policies and ensure they are regularly reviewed and updated.\n- Ensure statutory compliance in health, safety, and environment areas, including audits, waste disposal, and firefighting inspections.\n- Conduct risk assessments as per company plans.\n- Document and investigate all accidents/incidents, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.\n- Deliver EHS induction training for new employees and visitors.\n- Perform regular EHS inspections and audits and communicate responsibilities to employees.\n- Participate in developing safety guidelines, communications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n- Enhance compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.\n- Stay updated on relevant safety legislation and communicate changes to management.\n- Provide data for monthly EHS reports and maintain records of permits, licenses, and certifications.\n- Supervise the 'Permit to Work System' for all relevant activities.\n- Support efficiency and EHS improvement activities across the company.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.\n- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.\n- Good knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.\n- Advanced knowledge of EHS best practices and program implementation.\n- Skill in conducting research and investigating alternative safety solutions.\n- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\n### How to Apply\nQualified candidates should apply online through the Safal Group recruitment portal.
