Kilifi County Public Service Board is looking for qualified individuals to fill twenty-six (26) positions as Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) Teacher III. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing foundational education and care to young learners, ensuring a conducive environment for their development and growth within the county's educational framework.
Responsibilities
Implement the Early Childhood Development and Education curriculum.
Organize and facilitate play/learning activities to enable children to learn through play.
Care and provide for the basic needs of children in the ECDE centers.
Maintain records of children's progress and development.
Ensure a safe and clean learning environment for the children.
Participate in community mobilization and awareness programs regarding early childhood education.
Collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to support the children's welfare.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum academic qualification of a Degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Early Childhood Development Education or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Certificate of recognition from the Commission of University Education (CUE) for candidates with foreign qualifications.
Candidates must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya regarding integrity.
Possession of statutory clearance certificates from the following bodies: Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
