Steady Driving School is dedicated to creating safer roads by training confident and responsible drivers. We are looking for a disciplined Driving Instructor to join our team, responsible for preparing students for their NTSA driving examinations through high-quality theoretical lessons and hands-on practical training.
Key Responsibilities
For Practical Instructors:
Behind-the-Wheel Training: Conduct one-on-one sessions for students.
Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the training vehicle in good condition and report any maintenance requirements.
Test Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for the NTSA practical driving test.
For Theory Instructors:
Curriculum Delivery: Deliver structured classroom lessons based on the NTSA curriculum.
Technical Training: Teach road signs, traffic rules, and fundamental mechanical knowledge.
Progress Assessment: Conduct internal mock exams to evaluate student progress.
Exam Coordination: Guide students through the NTSA portal and the exam booking process.
Requirements & Qualifications
NTSA License: Must possess a valid NTSA Driving Instructor's License (Mandatory).
Driving Record: A valid Driving License with a clean driving record.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a driving instructor in a reputable school.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Kiswahili.
Interpersonal Skills: High level of patience and the ability to handle students with varying learning speeds.
Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy for managing student records.
