The Director, Commercial Frontline for ECAF (East & Central Africa) at The Coca-Cola Company is responsible for leading and driving the integrated Commercial agenda within the Franchise & Bottling system. This senior leadership role ensures End-to-End Integration and serves as a Commercial Thought Leader and strategic partner to the Franchise General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Commercial Leadership: Lead and drive the integrated Commercial agenda in the Franchise & Bottling system, ensuring End-to-End Integration.
Business Planning: Build and develop the Commercial Annual Business Plan (ABP) for the Franchise, partnering with the Franchise and Bottler to create detailed support plans.
Quarterly Prioritization: Manage and prioritize Commercial Priorities by quarter within the Franchise.
BBM & Pack Architecture: Drive the right Beverage Business Model (BBM) for the Franchise, ensuring the correct pack architecture is in place and adapting based on market dynamics.
Resource Management: Recruit and manage the right resources from the "On Demand Hub" to address priorities such as Affordability, Premium, Channel, RGM X, RTM, and Digital.
Marketing Integration: Provide Commercial input and approval for all Marketing Campaigns and "Picture of Success" (PicOS) to ensure full integration into marketing plans and processes.
Strategy Development: Provide commercial input into various Commercial Strategies (ABC of Execution, Affordability, Premium) to ensure they are tailored for the market.
Problem Solving: Leverage the "On Demand Hub" to deliver impactful scenarios and solutions for complex market challenges.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Leadership Experience: 10-12+ years of leadership experience in Commercial roles.
Core Expertise: Strong skills in Commercial and Channel Strategy, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Segmentation, Route to Market (RTM), and Negotiation.
Track Record: Proven history of execution excellence and delivering results in high-pressure environments.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding strategic, analytical, communication, and influencing abilities.
Industry Preference: Experience within a Bottling System or Franchise environment is highly desirable.
