The Director of Commercial Frontline for Angola & HIMA leads and drives the integrated Commercial agenda within the Franchise & Bottling system, ensuring comprehensive end-to-end integration. This role is responsible for developing the Commercial Annual Business Plan (ABP) in partnership with the Franchise and Bottler to establish detailed support plans. As a key strategic leader, the Director serves as a 'Right Hand' to the Franchise General Manager, providing thought leadership and prioritizing commercial activities on a quarterly basis.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Leadership: Lead and drive the integrated Commercial agenda in the Franchise & Bottling system, ensuring end-to-end integration.
- Business Planning: Build and develop the Commercial ABP for the Franchise, partnering with the Franchise and Bottler to build out detailed support plans.
- Strategic Prioritization: Prioritize Commercial priorities by quarter within the Franchise.
- BBM & Pack Architecture: Drive the right BBM model for the Franchise, ensuring the right pack architecture is in place, adapting based on market dynamics, and leveraging the 'On Demand Hub' to deliver impactful scenarios and solutions.
- Advisory Role: Serve as the Commercial Thought Leader and Integrator for the Franchise, acting as the primary advisor to the Franchise GM.
- Resource Management: Recruit appropriate resources to address priorities identified from the 'On Demand Hub' (including Affordability, Premium, Channel, RGM X, RTM, and Digital).
- Marketing Integration: Provide Commercial input and approval for all Marketing Campaigns and Picture of Success, ensuring they are integrated into marketing plans and processes.
- Strategic Input: Provide commercial input into various strategies such as the ABC of Execution, Affordability, and Premium to ensure plans are suitable for the specific market.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: 10-12+ years of leadership experience in Commercial roles.
- Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Domain Expertise: Strong skills in Commercial and Channel Strategy, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Segmentation, Route to Market (RTM), and Negotiation.
- Execution: A proven track record of execution excellence.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding strategic and analytical skills, alongside excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing abilities.
- Preferences: Previous experience within the Bottling System/Franchise and/or direct Commercial experience is highly desirable.
