BIMAS Kenya Limited, a leading microfinance institution in Kenya, is seeking to recruit capable and result-oriented individuals to fill the position of Direct Sales Representative. This role is essential for driving business growth through customer acquisition and the promotion of the institution's financial products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Sourcing prospective customer leads from various sources to expand the client base.
Product Education: Explaining the features and benefits of BIMAS Kenya Limited products to potential customers, ensuring they are treated fairly and understand the terms.
Application Guidance: Assisting customers in filling out application forms for their preferred products.
Documentation Review: Examining customer applications and supporting documentation to ensure they are accurate and complete.
Verification: Authenticating customer details by comparing original documents (such as National ID and passports) with photocopies provided.
Application Submission: Forwarding completed and verified applications to the respective Branch Manager or loan officer for processing.
Cross-Selling: Identifying and prospecting customers for additional products that may suit their financial needs.
Records Management: Maintaining the safe custody of all customer documents handled during the application process.
Feedback Collection: Gathering customer feedback or complaints and forwarding them to the Branch Manager for resolution.
Reporting: Sharing market intelligence from the field with leadership to help improve product offerings and providing regular sales reports as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Must hold a Diploma in a relevant business-related course.
Secondary Education: A minimum of grade C (plain) at KCSE.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales or a relevant internship.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with a passion for quality service.
Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Performance: Ability to meet stringent targets within defined deadlines.
