The Direct Sales Executive (Home Broadband) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and ensuring seamless onboarding for home broadband services in the Eldoret region. The role involves implementing sales initiatives, providing on-ground customer support, and executing marketing activities to meet business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with customer acquisition and onboarding processes, including KYC documentation and customer education on top-up procedures.
Collaborate with the Line Manager to develop, execute, and monitor sales initiatives within the assigned territory.
Track and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding acquisition and onboarding.
Manage the recovery of devices from non-compliant customers.
Provide first-level support through on-ground troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.
Escalate complex customer issues and network-related problems that cannot be resolved at the first level.
Perform daily collation of target achievement data and analyze monthly trends within assigned markets.
Prepare weekly review dashboards and ad-hoc reports as required.
Monitor and report on competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide customer insights and identify products or services that meet their specific needs.
Plan and execute on-ground marketing initiatives, including roadshows, estate storms, and mall activations.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Graduate degree or Diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 1+ years of outdoor sales experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
A strong understanding of telecom or fixed wireless trends is an added advantage.
Commercial acumen, including an understanding of the competition landscape, device offerings, and commission schemes.
Tech-savvy with an understanding of solutions across both 5G and Fixed Wireless Services.
Resilience and the ability to consistently deliver results against stretch targets.
A strong entrepreneurial spirit.
