Our client in the Telecommunications sector is seeking to recruit a Direct Sales Agent (DSA) to be based in Machakos. The primary purpose of this role is to market and sell company products and services to all customers in a professional manner. The successful candidate will adhere to financial controls, processes, and policies within the retail operations mandate.
Responsibilities
Generate Sales: Meet and exceed targets for Airtime, Acquisitions, and Devices.
Inventory Monitoring: Track Telkom’s inventory and consignment stock daily to ensure accurate balances and physical stock levels.
Financial Accountability: Manage the daily cash float and provide a full account of daily sales.
Customer Experience: Implement and support strategies to improve the customer experience and drive sales growth.
Technical Support: Assist customers with technical configurations, particularly for data devices.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in sales.
Technical Competencies: Proficiency in marketing, product knowledge, upselling/cross-selling, solution-oriented approach, and customer relationship management.
Core Competencies: Strong focus on the customer, networking ability, influencing and negotiating skills, and analytical thinking.
Leadership Competencies: Strategic orientation, business acumen, results orientation, and commitment to developing self and others.
