Our client in the Telecommunications sector seeks to recruit a Direct Sales Agent (DSA) to be based in Machakos. Reporting to the Shop Team Leader, the primary purpose of this role is to market and sell Company products and services to all customers in a professional manner. The successful candidate will adhere to and function within the guidelines for finance controls, processes, and policies that encompass the retail operations mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation: Meet and exceed targets for Airtime, Acquisitions, and Devices.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and consignment stock for accurate balance of inventory movements and physical stock on a daily basis.
Financial Accountability: Manage daily cash float and account for daily sales accurately.
Customer Experience: Support and implement customer experience improvement strategies aimed at increasing sales.
Technical Support: Offer technical support to customers, especially regarding the configuration of data devices.
Requirements and Competencies
Qualifications
Academic: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in sales.
Technical Competencies
Marketing skills and Product Knowledge.
Proficiency in Upselling and Cross-selling.
