West Kenya Sugar Limited is seeking a Deputy Security Manager to develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard the organisation’s assets, protect the company, and maintain a secure work environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Lead and supervise security personnel.
Conduct security assessments and audits.
Coordinate emergency response plans.
Manage access control systems, CCTV, and security equipment.
Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with HR, IT, law enforcement agencies, and security service providers.
Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Monitor security risks and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
At least 5 years' experience in security management, law enforcement, or the armed forces.
Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and security technologies.
Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Kenyan security and safety regulations.
Experience in investigations, audits, and risk management.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.
