Role Overview
This position is for a Dental Technologist III within the County Government of Kitui, with three posts available. The role operates on a Permanent and Pensionable Terms of Service, contributing to the provision of essential dental services within health institutions in Kitui County.
Salary Scale
The monthly salary is structured on a scale beginning at Ksh. 26,900 and rising to Ksh. 35,380 p.m. (Ksh. 26,900 x 1,110 – 28,010 x 1,120 – 29,130 x 1,150 – 30,280 x 1,170 – 31,450 x 1,250 – 32,700 x 1,300 – 34,000 x 1,380 – 35,380 p.m.).
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of appliances required in dentistry in health institutions.
Assess patients’ needs, verify, and maintain information relating to patients.
Order and maintain accurate records of supplies.
Guiding, supervising, and counselling staff working under him/her.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
Be a Citizen of Kenya.
Hold a Diploma in Dental Technology or a relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Have successfully completed at least one year of pre-service training.
