The Customer Success Partner (Reefer/FMCG) is responsible for driving client satisfaction, building long-term partnerships, and ensuring seamless supply chain integration. The role focuses on identifying customer challenges, advocating for solutions, managing the allocation and contracting process, and maintaining robust communication on trends, rate changes, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partnership & Advocacy: Build long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their supply chain challenges and maintaining strong relationships. Act as the primary point of contact and customer advocate, ensuring customer needs are met and account issues are resolved quickly.
Commercial & Contract Management: Manage the allocation process and coordinate with customers to ensure contract commitment. Handle tenders and contracting processes in coordination with Tender Contract Management (TCM). Co-ordinate Logistics & Services (L&S) quoting and contracting.
Client Engagement & Collaboration: Support sales with customer visits to understand business needs. Provide feedback loops to sales teams on opportunities and ocean/landside contract fulfillment.
Continuous Improvement: Continually assess customer progress toward stated goals, driving expected results in adoption, usage, and overall business value.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in customer service, logistics, or freight forwarding.
Industry Expertise: Experience handling complex accounts, commercial roles in logistics, and developing solutions within the Reefer and FMCG verticals.
Sales Skills: Proven track record in B2B sales (shipping, logistics, or transportation) and consultative/value-based selling approaches.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindsets. Ability to work independently and as a team player.
