Country Sales Manager

Role Overview

The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales department, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring that our products reach the widest possible customer base. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMCG market trends and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed set targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand market share for FMCG products, specifically within the hygiene category (diapers and sanitary towels).
• Monitor and analyze current market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
• Identify and engage with key customers and stakeholders to maintain strong professional relationships.
• Oversee country-wide distribution and sales operations ensuring efficiency and growth.
• Communicate sales performance and market insights to senior management regularly.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND).
• Between 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar sales management role.
• Prior experience in the FMCG sector is required; specific experience handling products such as diapers and sanitary towels is a significant advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of the current Kenyan market landscape and major customer segments.
• Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be available to start immediately.
