KONE Corporation, a global leader in the lift and escalator industry, is looking for a Collection Specialist. The objective of this role is to manage and coordinate credit management, collections, and dispute resolution processes. You will work closely with the retained finance organization and BPO partners to ensure seamless execution and drive cash recovery while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination: Effectively coordinate between the retained finance organization and BPO partners for credit management, collections, and dispute resolution.
Support: Help Front Line (FL) teams resolve complex and high-risk collection cases, providing guidance and escalation when necessary.
Analysis: Perform end-to-end root cause analysis of disputes to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
Fieldwork: Conduct in-person collection visits as required by local market practices.
Dispute Management: Manage dispute routing for assigned accounts, recording disputes accurately and monitoring the resolution workflow to ensure timely closure.
Collection Strategy: Apply defined collection strategies, conduct professional collection calls, and negotiate payment commitments (Promises to Pay).
Collaboration: Work with Customer Service & Accounting (CS&A) and inbound teams to efficiently resolve queries and disputes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in an Accounts Receivable position. Experience in the elevator industry is an advantage.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance or Credit Management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP tools (SAP experience is highly advantageous) and MS Office.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and draw actionable conclusions.
Soft Skills: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and organized self-starter with excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
