Cold Chain Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a Cold Chain Lead to oversee and manage our refrigeration and cold chain infrastructure. In this role, you will lead the delivery of engineering and infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning, manage technical teams, and ensure robust asset management and preventive maintenance protocols are in place, with a strong focus on solar-powered refrigeration systems and renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage industrial refrigeration systems and direct technical teams.
• Deliver engineering and infrastructure projects from initial concept through to successful commissioning.
• Establish and execute asset management plans and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Oversee solar-powered refrigeration systems and coordinate renewable energy solutions.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing refrigeration or cold chain infrastructure.
• Certifications:
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent Project Management certification is highly desirable.
  • Must hold a T2 Solar PV License or equivalent solar installation and maintenance certification.
• Project Management: Proven experience in executing engineering or infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of industrial refrigeration, asset management, and preventive maintenance.
  • Practical knowledge of solar-powered refrigeration systems and renewable energy applications.
  • Experience managing and leading technical engineering teams.
