At TakaTaka Solutions, we collect waste and recycle 95% of it, representing one of the highest recycling rates in the world. We are looking for a Welder Intern to join our team to assist in maintaining our fleet and waste structures.
Job Purpose
The Welder Intern will perform essential welding, fabrication, and repair activities on various company equipment and structures, including trucks, cabins, and metal brackets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Welding and Fabrication works as assigned.
Repair Damaged Truck Bodies, Cabins and Metal structures.
Replace Worn Out or defective parts and components as needed.
Fabricate Brackets, guard supports and other metallic components as required.
Carry out cutting, grinding, drilling and fitting activities.
Assist in repair and maintenance activities as directed by the supervisor.
Report job Completion and any outstanding issues to the supervisor.
Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Maintain clean and organized welding area.
Requirements
Technical Certification in welding and Fabrication.
Proven experience for at least 1 year.
Additional training in metal work is an added advantage.
