Job Description
Stratostaff is seeking a Cold Chain Delivery Specialist to manage the safe and efficient transportation of temperature-sensitive goods. The role is critical in ensuring that cargo remains within specified temperature ranges during transit, adhering to high standards of hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Temperature Monitoring: Adjust and monitor refrigeration unit settings to maintain compliance with temperature guidelines.
Cargo Safety: Safely transport temperature-sensitive products, ensuring they remain within the specified range throughout the delivery cycle.
Delivery Excellence: Ensure all deliveries are made on time, in full, and according to quality specifications (quantity, packaging, etc.).
Route & Time Management: Effectively plan driving routes and manage time to ensure punctuality and delivery efficiency.
Vehicle Hygiene: Maintain a clean and sanitized truck (inside and out) to meet the standards for transporting sensitive goods.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all required licenses and documents are up to date, including Speed Governor, NTSA Motor vehicle inspection, branding licenses, county distribution licenses, and insurance.
Resource Management: Manage fuel consumption through efficient driving practices and timely refueling.
Health & Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and driving best practices; report any accidents, damages, or hazards immediately.
Environmental Stewardship: Operate the vehicle in an environmentally friendly manner and avoid environmental hazards during parking and transit.
Operational Support: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, vehicle inspections, fuel consumption, and other operational logs.
