Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Mandarin Chinese language instruction for both beginner and advanced students.
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and speeds.
Monitor and assess student progress through regular testing and feedback to ensure academic growth.
Conduct research and apply critical thinking to enhance the learning experience and materials.
Maintain a professional classroom environment, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
Manage administrative duties including scheduling and meeting institutional deadlines.
Work effectively under pressure to maintain the quality of educational delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with HSK Level 5/6 or equivalent certification preferred.
Recognized teaching certification such as TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) or TCSOL is highly desirable.
Prior experience teaching both beginner and advanced learners is a distinct advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
Excellent research, critical thinking, and time management abilities.
Flexibility to work according to the institution’s schedule and the ability to meet frequent deadlines.
High level of professionalism, patience, and attention to detail.
