Ufanisi Digital Media is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial strategy. It is a critical and complex role since the organization depends on active investigation and safeguarding of its finances for survival. The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management, ranging from accounting to broad investment and banking operations. As an excellent leader, you will command all relative departments of the organization with the goal of protecting revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth. The role is offered on a Full-Time basis with a Hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning: Drive the company's comprehensive financial planning initiatives.
Risk Management: Perform risk management by analyzing organization liabilities and investments.
Investment Strategy: Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
Capital Control: Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
Cash Flow: Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations.
Personnel Management: Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers, etc.) and manage teams of financial controllers and analysts.
Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors.
Reporting: Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
Systems Oversight: Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with the law and the company’s internal policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant senior financial leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
Strong ability to strategize and solve complex problems.
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; an MSc/MBA is a significant plus.
