The Business Development & Operations Manager at PharmAccess Group is responsible for driving growth and operational excellence for the SafeCare program in Kenya. SafeCare, part of the PharmAccess Group, aims to improve the quality of healthcare by providing standards, benchmarking, and improvement paths for healthcare providers. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen and operational management skills to expand market presence and ensure high-quality service delivery through partnerships with private and public sector entities.### Responsibilities#### Business Development (55% Dedication)* Identify and pursue business opportunities based on market insights to drive customer recruitment and revenue growth.* Execute strategies to engage self-paying clients, government, and donor-supported opportunities.* Develop and manage sales plans, revenue forecasts, and execution strategies.* Coordinate with external implementation partners to deliver services and maintain strong relationships.* Proactively engage private providers, networks, and insurers.* Manage the CRM pipeline, ensuring all leads and contracts are updated.* Provide commercial insights to strengthen the SafeCare value proposition.* Prepare reports to support management decisions on market opportunities and risk mitigation.#### Operational Support (15% Dedication)* Support the daily operational implementation of SafeCare activities.* Ensure the quality and efficiency of service delivery to all clients.#### Program Monitoring & Reporting (10% Dedication)* Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using dashboards and CRM systems.* Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for leadership.* Improve planning and monitoring tools and support timely donor reporting.#### License Partner and Assessor Pool Coordination (10% Dedication)* Oversight of training, onboarding, and performance of license partners.* Monitor contract compliance and maintain documentation within the CRM.* Collaborate with partners to increase market presence and facilitate performance evaluations.#### Financial & Budgetary Responsibilities (10% Dedication)* Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting.* Track expenditures and revenue from license partners and clients.* Manage follow-ups on outstanding invoices and contract deliverables.### Requirements and Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Health sciences qualification preferred).* At least 8 years of proven sales experience, preferably in healthcare or service-based industries.* Demonstrated experience in a senior role within a complex business environment.* Strong expertise in strategy setting, business planning, and process review.* Proficiency in CRM systems for contract and sales management.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Significant experience in project and operations management.### How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates should apply online through the PharmAccess vacancies portal.
