Our client, a luxury hospitality property based in Gilgil, Nakuru County, is seeking to recruit a results-driven Business Development & Corporate Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through aggressive business development, corporate sales acquisition, conference sales, event bookings, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities and securing corporate accounts within the hospitality, travel, events, or conference sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new corporate business opportunities.
Develop and implement sales growth strategies.
Generate conference and meeting bookings.
Drive hotel accommodation sales revenue.
Source and secure event business.
Build relationships with corporate clients.
Develop partnerships with travel agents.
Conduct client presentations and pitches.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
Manage sales pipeline and forecasts.
Conduct regular market intelligence activities.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Promote hotel facilities and services.
Organize sales visits and roadshows.
Generate leads through networking initiatives.
Prepare sales reports and performance updates.
Monitor competitor activities and pricing.
Support marketing and promotional campaigns.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in hospitality, corporate sales, business development, travel, events, or conference sales.
Proven experience generating new business and corporate accounts.
Strong network within corporate, travel, hospitality, or events sectors.
Experience selling conference, accommodation, and event solutions.
Demonstrated achievement of sales and revenue targets.
Experience within luxury hotels, resorts, lodges, or conference venues is highly preferred.
