The Branch Manager at Riverside Platinum Centre is responsible for leading the branch operations to achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management. The role involves growing and monitoring the branch’s liability and asset portfolios, expanding the customer base, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through cross-selling. Additionally, the manager is expected to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while championing digital migration and ensuring strict compliance with risk management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
Grow and monitor the branch’s liability and asset portfolios to achieve business targets.
Expand the customer base and ensure retention of existing customers through high levels of customer satisfaction and cross-selling.
Manage the overall branch through efficient utilization of resources.
Deliver excellent customer service through maintenance of high service standards.
Ensure compliance with the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework.
Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
Champion digital migration within the branch.
Requirements and Qualifications
A University Degree from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in General Banking, with at least 4 years as a Branch Manager at MLC.
Experience in Sales, Personal, Business, or Retail Banking.
Experience in Credit Analysis and administration.
Experience in Bank operations covering Cash Management, Clearing, Accounts, and Administration.
Demonstrated consistent high performance in roles held over the last three years.
Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products and services, along with extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
Excellent high-quality interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to network and develop strong business relations.
A good understanding of risk, credit policies, and procedures.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in championing high-performance management.
Excellent planning, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
