KCB Bank Kenya is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to fill the role of Branch Manager at our Prestige Plaza Branch. The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the branch, focusing on driving profitability, ensuring business growth, and maintaining high standards of customer service excellence while adhering to risk management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance: Achieve branch profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management.
Portfolio Management: Grow and monitor the branch’s liability and asset portfolios to achieve set business targets.
Customer Satisfaction: Expand the customer base and ensure retention through a high level of customer satisfaction and cross-selling of products and services.
Branch Operations: Oversee the overall management of the branch through the efficient utilization of resources and maintenance of high service standards.
Risk & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and credit policies.
Team Leadership: Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
Digital Innovation: Champion digital migration and the adoption of digital banking solutions within the branch.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should meet the following requirements:
A University Degree from a recognized institution.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in General Banking, with at least 4 years of which should have been as a Branch Manager at MLC.
Proven experience in Sales, Personal, Business, or Retail Banking.
Direct experience in Credit Analysis and administration.
Strong background in Bank operations covering Cash Management, Clearing, Accounts, and Administration.
Demonstrated consistent high performance in roles held in the last three years.
Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products and services, and extensive Banking Industry knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to network and develop strong business relations.
A good understanding of risk, credit policies, and procedures.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in championing high-performance management.
Excellent planning, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
