Role Overview
As a Bellman, you will be a key member of the guest services team, serving as the first point of contact for guests. Your primary goal is to provide a seamless and welcoming arrival and departure experience through professional luggage handling and guest assistance.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the hotel.
Assist guests with luggage and maintain the luggage room and long-term luggage store in a neat and orderly manner.
Maintain accurate reports for VIP/Group and individual arrivals.
Attend to guest inquiries and provide accurate information regarding hotel facilities and local areas.
Determine and ensure compliance with all key control policies and manage all safe deposit boxes for guests.
Evaluate the everyday status of the hotel and coordinate with various departments such as reservation, sales, and housekeeping to ensure an optimal level of guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Opera Property Management System (PMS).
Soft Skills: Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Background: Hospitality background is preferred.
Communication: Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
