Job Description
The Baobab Beach Resort and Spa is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. The resort is set within 80 acres of tropical gardens, overlooking the Indian Ocean, and offers a serene environment for guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in the daily operations of all outlets, ensuring high service standards, and maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support the F&B Manager in daily outlet operations.
Maintain and elevate service standards across all outlets.
Oversee staff scheduling and lead daily briefings.
Implement and supervise staff training initiatives.
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are strictly upheld.
Monitor buffet presentation and service quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
Drive ala carte sales and enhance the guest experience.
Manage stock control and overall operational efficiency.
Ensure all F&B equipment is well-maintained and functional.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Previous work experience in a 4-Star hotel or resort is mandatory.
Experience with All-Inclusive (AI) resort operations is an added advantage.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Must be professional, proactive, and service-driven.
