The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Behavioral Science Intern to support the integration of behavioral science (BeSci) into its environmental agenda. The intern will assist in mapping existing projects, drafting impact analyses, and organizing events and communications to promote BeSci initiatives across the organization.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Assist in drafting analyses of the impact and potential benefits of BeSci for UNEP’s work.\n- Assist in mapping existing projects and best practices on BeSci within UNEP, and relevant best practices from UN sister organizations.\n- Assist in populating the TEAMS channel of the CoP on BeSci, including reports and publications, initiatives, trainings, and events.\n- Assist in organizing the meetings of the CoP on BeSci Steering Committee (e.g., communications, preparation of presentations, notetaking, etc.).\n- Support the organisation of events and webinars on behavioural science themes relevant to UNEP’s work.\n- Support in drafting outreach and communication materials relating to the activities of the CoP on BeSci.\n- Carry out other duties relevant to the Intern’s educational background.\n\n### Qualifications and Special Skills\nApplicants must meet one of the following requirements:\n- Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school Programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).\n- Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree Programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).\n- Have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must commence the internship within one year of graduation.\n- : Behavioral Science, Business Psychology, or another related field is required.\n- Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience, but a closely related field of study is required.\n- Good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
