Role Overview
This role involves generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market and managing client relationships to ensure business growth. The position offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segments.
- Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on various retail Life products offered by CIC.
- Service Delivery: Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
- Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the established turnaround times.
- Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to ensure the product range remains updated and competitive.
- Retention: Follow up on clients to ensure business persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
- Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the market.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
- Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
- Age: Candidates must be 25 years of age and above.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer care skills.
