CIC Insurance Group is seeking proactive individuals to join their team as Bancassurance Sales Officers in Nakuru. The primary focus of this role is to drive the growth of retail Life Business by identifying opportunities in the allocated market and converting them into sales. The successful candidates will be responsible for educating clients on product offerings and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and policy persistency.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the assigned market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on the benefits and features of retail Life insurance products.
Service Coordination: Coordinate with various internal departments to facilitate seamless service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Prepare and deliver accurate quotations to prospective clients within the required turnaround times.
Market Analysis: Gather and report market intelligence to help the company stay competitive and update its product range.
Retention: Monitor and follow up on policies to ensure the persistency rate remains within acceptable company standards.
Brand Advocacy: Serve as an ambassador for the CIC brand, promoting its values and services in the market.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant insurance qualifications such as COP or ECOP. Possession of a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Customer Service: Demonstrated excellence in customer care.
Age: Applicants must be 25 years of age or older.
