Jubilee Insurance was established in August 1937, as the first locally incorporated Insurance Company based in Mombasa. Jubilee Insurance has since expanded its sphere of influence throughout the region to become the largest Composite insurer in East Africa, handling Life, Pensions, General, and Medical insurance.
This role is for a Bancassurance Sales Consultant responsible for driving insurance sales growth within the Western region market. The consultant will leverage the partnership between Jubilee Insurance and designated banking partners to maximize product penetration and revenue generation across various insurance lines.

Typical responsibilities for this role include:
Achieving set sales targets for various insurance products (Life, Pensions, General, Medical) through the bancassurance channel in the Western region.
Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with bank staff to generate reliable leads and maximize referrals.
Conducting training and sensitization sessions for bank personnel on insurance products and efficient sales processes.
Providing excellent customer service and diligent follow-up on prospective and existing clients referred via the bank channel.
Managing the entire sales pipeline effectively, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals.
Providing timely and accurate sales reports and analyzing performance metrics.
Ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements set by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) and internal company policies during all sales activities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, or any related field.
Professional Certification: Certificate of proficiency in insurance.
Licensure: Must possess a Valid IRA license.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the insurance sector.
Core Competencies: Strong practical understanding and proven ability in prospecting, effective sales pipeline management, detailed sales reporting, and strong public communication/engagement skills.
