CJ’s is a fully-fledged restaurant specializing in delivering a relaxed and memorable dining experience. We are currently in 12 locations; 3 in Nairobi, 8 in Kampala, and 1 in Entebbe. Each location features a unique ambiance with tasteful décor, specially designed for your comfort. We have over 300 carefully selected, mouthwatering menu items and value excellence in service from our highly skilled team members.
We are looking for a dedicated Baker to join our team, focusing on the production of high-quality baked goods while ensuring strict adherence to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production: Mix, shape, and bake signature breads and pastries according to established recipes.
Quality Control: Oversee product finishing, including glazing and intricate decorative details to maintain visual standards.
Leadership: Supervise the bakery team and ensure strict compliance with HACCP and safety regulations.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in baking.
Qualifications: Must possess a Baking or Pastry Certificate.
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification is required.
Skills: Strong knowledge of diverse pastry techniques and a creative, team-oriented, and initiative-driven mindset.
