Bungoma North Technical and Vocational College (BNTVC) is a transformative institution dedicated to providing quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The college is seeking to recruit three (3) qualified and dedicated Automotive Engineering Trainers to equip youth and adults with practical competencies, innovative skills, and entrepreneurial capacity for sustainable development.
Role Overview
The trainer will be responsible for delivering the automotive engineering curriculum through both theoretical instruction and practical workshop sessions. The goal is to ensure trainees acquire the technical proficiency and innovative mindset required for the modern automotive industry.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality training in Automotive Engineering according to the approved TVET curriculum.
Organize and supervise practical workshop experiments and technical projects.
Assess and evaluate trainee progress through regular tests and competency assessments.
Manage and maintain automotive workshop equipment, tools, and materials.
Mentor and guide students in developing innovative and entrepreneurial skills.
Ensure safety standards are strictly followed within the workshop environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of a Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering from a recognized institution.
Any other equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
Strong practical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to trainees.
