Frank Management Consult Ltd is an international management consulting agency seeking a qualified Audit Assistant for their Nakuru operations. The role involves ensuring financial accuracy and compliance through rigorous internal controls, detailed financial reporting, and comprehensive audit support. The successful candidate will be responsible for expense analysis, tax compliance, and the preparation of management accounts to enhance organizational productivity and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Expense Analysis: Conduct monthly analysis of expense lines, identifying variances, drivers, trends, and cost-control insights.
Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Financial Operations: Perform General Ledger (GL) reconciliations, record journal entries, and manage month-end close tasks.
Taxation: Prepare and file VAT returns and assist with other statutory tax requirements.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and management account schedules.
Internal Audit: Produce monthly internal audit reports and support ongoing internal control reviews.
Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA/ACCA qualification (completed or currently ongoing).
2-3 years of professional experience in financial reporting, audit, or general accounting.
Strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and audit procedures.
