Amanbo is an online shopping E-commerce platform based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are looking for an Assistant Chinese-English Translator (Male) to join our team. The primary role involves bridging the communication gap between Chinese management and local staff, ensuring smooth operations within our multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Interpretation: Provide accurate Chinese-English interpretation during business meetings, site visits, and general daily operations.
Document Translation: Translate technical documents, internal reports, and various business communications.
Staff Liaison: Facilitate clear and effective communication between Chinese staff and local Kenyan staff.
Team Coordination: Support the coordination of projects and activities across multicultural teams.
On-site Support: Offer real-time interpretation on-site as required by the business needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree, Higher National Diploma, or Diploma in English, Chinese-English Translation, or a related field.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both spoken and written Chinese and English is mandatory.
Communication Skills: Clear pronunciation and robust interpretation skills in both languages.
Work Experience: Prior professional experience in translation or interpretation is required.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional cross-cultural communication abilities and a high level of adaptability.
