We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives in the Nairobi region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving market growth, managing a sales team, and ensuring our range of FMCG products reaches the target consumers effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead the sales team within the designated Nairobi area to achieve established sales targets.
Monitor and analyze current market trends to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies to increase brand visibility and market share for FMCG products, particularly diapers and sanitary towels.
Provide regular and detailed reports on sales performance, market developments, and team productivity.
Ensure consistent product availability and optimal distribution across all key accounts and retail outlets.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
At least 2 - 5 years of experience in a similar sales management role handling FMCG products.
Specific experience handling products like diapers and sanitary towels is considered an added advantage.
Extensive knowledge of the current market trends in Kenya and a deep understanding of key customer segments.
Excellent team management, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Availability to start immediately.
