The Area Sales Manager at CDL Human Resource is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving regional sales growth and operational excellence. The role involves developing and executing a regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives, aiming for up to 35% Year-over-Year (YoY) sales growth. The incumbent will oversee multiple branch locations, leading and mentoring branch leaders and sales teams to build a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives and brand promise.
Revenue & Profitability: Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across all assigned branches, targeting up to 35% YoY growth.
Target Setting & Performance: Set branch and individual sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure accountability through structured reviews and coaching.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop Branch leaders and sales teams to build a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
Operational Excellence: Strengthen branch operations by improving sales processes, visual merchandising standards, customer experience, and stock utilization.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and local market activations.
Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to inform pricing, promotions, and assortment decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Marketing, buying, and logistic teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting standards, and operational controls across all branches.
Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reporting on sales performance, forecasts, opportunities, and risks to direct reporting lines.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
General Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail or FMCG sales.
Management Experience: At least 2 years in a people management or supervisory role.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to grow sales, manage multiple locations, and lead teams toward ambitious targets.
Analytical Skills: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into action.
Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with high professional standards.
