AI Solutions Manager

Digital Divide Data (DDD) is seeking a highly skilled AI Solutions Manager to lead the technical and operational delivery of AI and Machine Learning projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between client requirements and production execution, specifically focusing on data annotation workflows for Computer Vision (CV), Autonomous Vehicles (AV), and ADAS. This role involves leading discovery sessions, designing structured workflows, and ensuring high-quality delivery through robust analytics and process innovation.

Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Applied Solution Design

• Lead discovery sessions to understand client datasets, workflows, and machine learning objectives.
• Translate technical requirements into structured workflows, annotation guidelines, and quality frameworks.
• Provide clients with performance insights, delivery updates, and workflow recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to optimize or expand ongoing programs through technical expertise.

Program Delivery Leadership

• Oversee daily execution of AI/ML/CV/AV/ADAS workflows to meet accuracy, throughput, and timeline Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Guide onboarding, calibrations, workflow transitions, and guideline updates for production teams.
• Partner with Delivery Leads on staffing, training, and production readiness to ensure project success.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure alignment across all internal and external stakeholders.

Analytics, Quality & Root-Cause Insights

• Build dashboards and reports tracking key metrics such as accuracy, Inter-Annotator Agreement (IAA), errors, productivity, and latency.
• Lead root-cause analyses and collaborate with QA and Training teams to drive continuous improvements.
• Provide actionable insights that improve model training data and overall system performance.
• Communicate technical analytics clearly to both clients and internal technical teams.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Recommend process optimizations using data trends and feedback from delivery teams.
• Promote the adoption of automation tools, including pre-labeling, AI-assisted annotation, and automated quality control.
• Improve sampling, auditing, and annotation consistency frameworks to enhance data reliability.

Commercial & Pre-Sales Support

• Provide technical inputs for project proposals, pricing models, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Support RFI/RFP submissions with specialized workflow and technical expertise.
• Participate in technical demonstrations and client evaluations alongside the Business Development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI/ML operations, technical solutioning, or program delivery.
• Strong understanding of annotation workflows for 2D/3D Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), LiDAR/RADAR, and AV/ADAS datasets.
• Proficiency with industry tools such as Labelbox, SuperAnnotate, Scale AI, or CVAT.
• Solid analytics skills including Excel mastery, familiarity with SQL/Python, and experience with visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Excellent communication and technical storytelling skills for stakeholder management.
• Proven experience managing escalations and coaching teams in KPI-driven environments.
• Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicle sensor data is a significant plus.
