Role Summary
The Warehouse Officer supports the efficient receipt, storage, control and dispatch of medical equipment, rehabilitation products, consumables and mobility aids. The role is responsible for accurate inventory records, safe product handling, timely order fulfilment and real-time recording of warehouse transactions in Odoo.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and inspection: Receive stock against purchase and delivery documents; check quantities, condition and expiry dates; prepare GRNs; label items correctly; and report shortages, damage or incorrect supplies promptly.
Inventory control: Maintain accurate Odoo records, monitor stock levels, support reorder requests, conduct daily checks, cycle counts and monthly stock takes, investigate variances, and apply FIFO where applicable.
Storage and warehouse standards: Organise locations and shelving, use space efficiently, maintain cleanliness, protect products from theft, damage and deterioration, and monitor required storage conditions.
Picking, packing and dispatch: Pick and verify the correct products, quantities and sizes; pack orders safely and professionally; prepare delivery documents; and coordinate timely dispatch with logistics and transport teams.
ERP and compliance: Record goods receipts, stock transfers, customer deliveries and returns in Odoo on the same day, while following warehouse SOPs and supporting continuous improvement in data accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics, Business Management, Warehouse Management or a related discipline.
At least three years of relevant warehouse experience.
Must be able to read, write, and speak Gujarati, Hindi, Swahili, and English fluently.
Practical experience using an ERP system; Odoo experience is preferred.
Experience handling medical equipment, pharmaceutical products or healthcare consumables is an added advantage.
CIPS, KISM or an equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
