Role Overview
Rift Valley Technical Training Institute is seeking a qualified and experienced Driver II to manage institutional transport operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving institute vehicles safely, maintaining assigned vehicles in clean and operable conditions, carrying out routine mechanical checks, and adhering strictly to national traffic regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Driving institutional vehicles as assigned.
Responsible for the safety of the vehicle and its occupants whenever on the road.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicles assigned.
Maintaining the serviceability of the institute vehicles by carrying out routine checks of lubrication, fuels, tyres, water, and battery.
Ensuring the vehicles have all requisite safety and statutory items in good order and condition.
Ensuring work tickets are filled and approved as required.
Adherence to set traffic rules and regulations.
Requirements
Form 4 (KCSE) with valid driving license (Class B, C, D1, D2 & D3).
Valid PSV license and badge.
Must have basic first aid training.
Certificate of defensive driving is an added advantage.
Must have at least 5 years' experience in the same field with a reputable institution.
Must be computer literate.
Kenyan citizen aged between 30–45 years.

Successful candidates must satisfy the requirements of leadership and integrity as set out in Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya and present clearance certificates from:
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA Tax Compliance)
Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI Good Conduct)
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
Relevant Clearance Certificate
