About the Role
As a Warehouse Assistant at Victory Farms, you will play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, sorting, storing, and dispatching fish stock and feeds, maintaining general warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and store fish stock in accordance with Victory Farms warehouse procedures.
Assist in receiving and dispatching fish feeds, ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
Verify stock against delivery notes and promptly report any discrepancies.
Ensure proper stacking and storage practices to maintain product quality and safety.
Support crate handling, returns processing, and maintain smooth stock flow.
Participate in routine stock counts and cycle counts as directed by the warehouse team.
Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse through sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and general hygiene practices.
Perform heavy cleaning tasks and support special projects when required.
Adhere to Victory Farms’ health, safety, hygiene, and security standards at all times.
Undertake any other duties assigned by the Warehouse Associate or Warehouse Management Team.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum KCSE (Form 4) completion, with at least a D- (minus) grade or above.
Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory operations is an added advantage.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move stock safely.
Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
