The Vocational and Technical Trainer Assistant III will be responsible for providing instruction and training in Motor Vehicle Mechanics within the county's vocational and technical institutions. The role involves preparing educational materials, assessing trainee progress, maintaining specialized tools and equipment, and providing guidance to trainees. \n\n### Responsibilities and Duties\n- Instruct in areas of specialization in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.\n- Prepare and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson notes, and teaching/learning materials.\n- Maintain accurate trainee records and carry out assessments in both classroom settings and during attachments.\n- Coordinate the storage, care, maintenance, and proper usage of teaching tools and equipment.\n- Conduct co-curricular activities and manage trainee discipline through guidance and counseling.\n- Induct and supervise newly deployed instructors to ensure quality standards are met.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\n- Diploma in any of the following technical disciplines: Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Studies/Science, Information and Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering, Building and Construction, Hair Dressing and Beauty Therapy, Clothing, Fashion Design and Textile Technology, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.\n- Training in pedagogical skills from an accredited institution.\n- Registration by the Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).\n\n### How to Apply\nApplications including a detailed Curriculum Vitae (C.V), certified copies of Academic and Professional Certificates, Testimonials, National Identification Card or Passport, and any other supporting documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope.
