The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic instruction, curriculum development, and student mentorship within the School of Medicine. The role involves contributing to the university's academic excellence by sharing specialized knowledge and professional expertise in the field of pathology.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver academic lectures and clinical instruction in Pathology to medical and health sciences students.
Develop and review curriculum content to ensure alignment with international best practices and regulatory standards.
Supervise student research projects and clinical rotations in laboratory settings.
Conduct assessments and examinations, providing constructive feedback to students.
Participate in academic and departmental initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant medical field, a Master’s degree (MSc/MMed), and a PhD or Fellowship in Clinical Pathology or a related specialization.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of teaching or professional experience in Clinical Pathology.
Certifications: Must have relevant professional registration and certificates.
