This role is for a Vehicle Sales Consultant (3 posts available) at Subaru Kenya, the sole franchise holder and exclusive distributor of the Subaru range of motor vehicles in East Africa, operating as a division of ECTA (Kenya) Limited.
Job Overview
The Vehicle Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales with existing customers and creating opportunities with new ones for new business. The primary objective is to ensure key departmental objectives of new vehicle sales and profitability are achieved. A key part of the role involves creating enduring customer relationships that secure future business and ensure sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
To study the product and obtain full product knowledge.
Study the market and identify appropriate market segments and competitor trends.
Determine and apply the correct positioning of the product to the appropriate prospects.
Identify customer needs and seek to satisfy them through offering the right model and package.
Monthly Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets: 3 Units per month.
Produce a Monthly review report on new vehicles sold, new prospects added to the database, hot deals, cold calls, and market situation.
Provide accurate sales forecasts for the month.
Review sales performance by model.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Prospecting for business.
Ensure all sales prospects are updated in the CRM system.
Ensure the product is displayed appropriately at the point of sale/showroom and that the right standards are adhered to.
Negotiate business deals on behalf of the company.
Establish new networks to grow the database.
Manage sales documents and correspondence.
Demarcate the market for effective prospecting and to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Candidates must possess a BA/BSc/HND qualification.
