The UAT Coordinator is responsible for managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for core banking implementations or upgrades (T24/Temenos). The role ensures that business users validate system functionality against real banking scenarios and regulatory requirements before go-live.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage UAT strategy and execution timelines.
UAT Strategy:
Coordination: Coordinate UAT activities across various business units.
Scenario Development: Translate business requirements into comprehensive UAT scenarios.
Environment Management: Ensure availability of UAT environments and test data.
Facilitation: Facilitate UAT sessions and lead defect triage meetings.
Reporting: Track execution progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Defect Lifecycle: Manage the UAT defect lifecycle from discovery to resolution.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory scenarios are thoroughly tested.
Sign-off: Coordinate and obtain official business sign-off.
Change Management: Support training and change management initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 4–7 years’ experience in UAT coordination specifically within banking projects.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with T24/Temenos core banking systems.
Banking Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking operations and regulatory environments.
Testing Lifecycle: Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Tools: Experience with project and test management tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
